How do I clean my E- scooter?
The user manuals will give you more information on cleaning your E-Scooter, however generally a damp cloth with normally suffice. However please be aware of your specific models cleaning instructions.
Can you use an E-Scooter in the rain?
Please refer to the manufactures guidelines as each scooter differs in specification alternatively contact us for more information.
Where should I store and charge my E-Scooter?
Store your e-scooter in a dry location, be aware of where you are going to store your scooter and the weight of your e-scooter. We advise you not to charge your scooter over night in dwellings. If you are storing your e-scooter for long periods of time then we advise that it is charged for at least 30 mins once a month.
Is it legal to use an E-Scooter in the UK?
UK laws around the use of E-scooters are constantly changing and at present it is illegal to use personal electric scooters on public roads, pavements, and cycle lanes. They are to be used on Private land only. Keep an eye on our news page for all current developments.
How long does it take to charge?
Each E-Scooter will vary and also depends on the charger that you use, please see our product page for information on individual scooters, alternatively contact us for more information.
What do I do if I get a puncture?
There are a number of solutions to punctures that include tyre slimes and tyre replacements. Please contact us for more information

What is the warranty?
Ev-tek ltd. only sell official UK products and they are covered by a manufacturer’s warranty. Each E-Scooter will have different manufacturers warranties. Please familiarise your self with all warranty information on purchase of your scooter.
Where can I get my E-scooter services and maintained?
Ev-Tek offers a comprehensive service and maintenance service. We utilise OEM parts for all repair works and are authorised to carry out warranty repairs on behalf of all the manufacturers we supply.

Pre Order/Back Order:
When Pre Ordering (Back Order) stock, you will need to pay for the item in full. Please click on “Add to Basket” and proceed to the checkout as normal and we will ship the scooter so that you receive it on the next working day as soon as it arrives in stock.
All of the scooters that are available for pre order(Back Order) should be in stock week following 1st July but some may be sooner. This is an approximate date and this may vary slightly which is out of our control therefore we cannot guarantee back order delivery dates. We will however keep you informed.
We will email you as soon as the scooter arrives and we will let you know when we ship the scooter to you. You will receive a TNT tracking number where you will have up to date order tracking.
If you would like a refund at any point before the scooter is shipped to you, please do get in touch: firstname.lastname@example.org and we will be able to refund you.
